Zaldy is an Assurance Partner of Isla Lipana & Co., the Philippine member firm of the PwC network since 2011. He is concurrently the Accounting Consulting Services (ACS) Leader of the Philippine firm.
Zaldy currently sits as the Chairman of the Philippine Interpretation Committee (PIC) of the Financial Reporting Standards Council where he participated in drafting the PIC Q&A on crypto-assets that currently serves as the authoritative guidance in the Philippines. He is also the Vice Chairman of the International Financial Reporting Standard 17 Technical Working Group (TWG) of the Insurance Commission (IC) representing PIC. The TWG is formed to study and assess the implications of IFRS 17 in the Philippines via consultation with various IC-regulated entities.
As an audit partner, Zaldy has extensive experience in business process reviews around loan origination and loss provisioning and treasury operations of universal and commercial banks. He has participated in capital/fund raising projects (i.e., bond and rights offering) working with local and foreign underwriters and lawyers. He has also served as partner in audits of insurance entities (both life and non-life) of the firm that allowed him to acquire deep familiarity of the IFRS and local regulatory requirements for insurers.
As an ACS partner, Zaldy is engaged in providing solutions to issues related to Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and the review of financial statements. He has participated in various implementation projects covering new standards like PFRS 9, 15 and 16.
Zaldy has attended various PwC-sponsored IFRS training programs in Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia. He has also participated in PwC global quality reviews conducted in Australian, Korea and UK member firms. Zaldy acquired his accreditation as an ACS professional of the PwC global network after his three-month training program in PwC Hong Kong/China in 2016.
Zaldy is a regular participant in the annual global IFRS conference organized by PwC in London where he gets updates on the latest standards (e.g. IFRS 9, 15 and 17) and ongoing IFRS projects from the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) staff.
Zaldy graduated Cum Laude from Colegio San Agustin in Bacolod City with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. In 1998, he placed 18th in the Certified Public Accountant licensure examination. In 2009, he acquired a Management Development Program certificate from the Asian Institute of Management. Last June 2019, Zaldy completed the Strategic Business Economics Program (SBEP) of the University of Asia and the Pacific.

Marie Fe has been with P&A Grant Thornton since she started her professional career in 2007. She has extensive experience in providing tax compliance/due diligence audit, tax outsourcing services, global mobility services, and transfer pricing studies to local and multinational companies.
Marie Fe also assists clients in handling their tax assessments and other compliance requirements with the Bureau of Internal Revenue and other regulatory agencies.

Rudolph Jimenez is the current Professional Development Manager of the Institute of Internal Auditors Philippines. Prior to this designation, he has been one of the Senior Training Consultants of SPEECHPOWER since November 1999. He has also represented SPEECHPOWER in several corporate trainings, particularly Quisumbing & Torres, Rajah Travel, Baker & McKenzie, Bayer CropScience, De La Salle University, PhilHealth, Philippine Federation of Credit Cooperative, among others.
He is the resource speaker for communication workshops in two professional organizations: Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and Institute of Internal Auditors – Philippines (IIAP). He handled communication trainings for Punongbayan & Araullo – Grant Thornton, Diaz Murillo Dalupan and Co. and Ropali Group of Companies. In 2008, Rudolph was one of the Diction Teachers for the ABS-CBN singing talent search show, Pinoy Dream Academy for kids.

Seminar schedules are subject to change. Should there be any, PICPA will announce through the PICPA website and will inform you via email and/or SMS/text messages.
OTHER DETAILS
1. Registration is from 7am – 8am. Seminar starts at 8am.
2. CANCELLATION OF RESERVATION: Cancellation is only valid when conveyed through the registered email address or through the registered mobile number. Please read "Seminar FAQs" for more details.
3. NO SHOW FEE: Reservations without valid cancellations three days prior to the seminar schedule at the latest are deemed confirmed. Those who fail to cancel their confirmed reservation within the three-day period and do not show up for the seminar will be charged Php 500.00 to defray administrative and logistical costs (food, seminar materials, etc.)
4. The Certificate of Attendance and CPD units will be issued and awarded only to the actual attendee of the seminar. No proxies allowed. CPD units are awarded per actual hours of attendance; latecomers shall be deducted units accordingly.
5. For dietary restrictions and preferences, please contact and inform the PICPA Training Division at least two (2) days before the actual seminar date. PICPA will do its best to accommodate your request, but delivery is subject to its availability.
