As executives move up the management ladder, the type of decisions they have to make becomes more complex and broader in scope. This is called the helicopter factor which is one often overlooked attribute of effective decision makers This module will focus on all four attributes – i.e. intelligence, influence, initiative, and the helicopter factor.

It also covers feasibility attributes of proposed solutions to organizational problems, whether they be one-time or routine problems and simple or complex problems. This module also assumes the notion that, applying decision science principles, all problems and solutions are quantifiable. Even qualitative characteristics of scenarios, values of organizations, and feelings towards choices and options of the decision maker can all be quantified.
