Wowie Roguel is a Partner of the Tax Division. He is also the Head of Japan Desk of the firm. Wowie has been in public accounting since he started his professional career in 1995. He has gained solid experience in the audit of local and multinational companies from a wide range of industries. He initially joined P&A Grant Thornton's Tax Advisory and Compliance division as a tax semi-senior, supervising engagements that determined clients' compliance with tax rules and regulations. He represents clients in tax cases before the Bureau of Internal Revenue and the Department of Finance; addresses queries on tax and other corporate concerns, handles registration matters and other requirements for doing business in the Philippines, and conducts research on issues affecting individual and corporate taxpayers.

Lavi is the founder and Chief Learning Development Officer of Opus Ad Lucem Inc. (Opus), an emerging player in learning events management. Anchored on “Strengthening One, Empowering Many”, she has dedicated more than two decades of her career in organization development and training across industries and functions for global and local companies. She has managed cross-functional teams to effectively deliver company-wide learning and development goals and objectives.

She has been instrumental in establishing management and leadership development programs for select companies. Among her milestones include setting up “Supervisor Development Program”, a
comprehensive training program benefiting 900 team leaders across the country for a business process outsourcing company, and “Sales Management Training Program”, a preparatory management program for high performing financial executives in a multinational life insurance company.

She has been a guest lecturer at De La Salle University Manila teaching International Business for undergraduate students.
Lavi is a Master of Business Administration (MBA English program) degree holder from Hitotsubashi University, Tokyo, Japan. She is the “first” Filipino recipient of Young Leaders’ Program scholarship grant
by the Japan Ministry of Education. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of the Philippines, Manila with a degree in BA Social Science major in Behavioral Studies.

She has earned the distinction of being the “first” Filipino Junior Chamber International (or Jaycee) member to win a back-to-back grandslam award as Outstanding Member and Outstanding Local Chapter President in the area, national convention, Asia Pacific Conference and World Congress.

She holds the norm of Advanced Communicator Gold and Advanced Leader Bronze from Toastmasters International, a worldwide organization developing public speaking and leadership skills. She is the 2009-2010 and 2016-2017 president of I-Connect Toastmasters Club.

Companies from various industries such as Banking, Retail, Insurance, Real Estate, Business Proces Outsourcing , Manufacturing, Government and Universities have made Lavi their partner consultant for their people and business development efforts, especially for Leadership, Communication, Customer
