Mr. Eric J. Magcale is the founder and Managing Partner of EJM and Co., CPAs. He was formerly a Manager and Assistant Head of the Technical Standards (TSG) Group and Quality Assurance Review (QAR) Group of Diaz Murillo Dalupan and Company, CPAs. He was also a former Senior in the Audit and Technical Research Groups of Navarro Amper and Co. (Deloitte Philippines), Management Accountant of Financial Times Philippines, and Senior Associate of Audit and Assurance of SyCip Gorres Velayo and Co. (SGV & Co.).

Eric is currently a member of the Board of Directors of PICPA Southern Metro Manila Chapter and Quality Assurance Committee Chair of the Association of CPAs in Public Practice (ACPAPP). Concurrently, he is also a member of the PICPA Quality Assurance Review Committee (QAR). The PICPA QAR Committee is the body that was tasked by the National Board of Directors to draft the Voluntary Quality Assurance Review (VQAR) policies and procedures to enhance the quality of audits of small and medium-sized practitioners. He also served as a member of PICPA SMMC Professional Development Committee and Chair of ACPAPP’s Publication Committee in 2016 and 2017.
