He has been providing Accounting consultancy services to various government agencies and CPA firms in the country. As an authority who literally wrote the book on Auditing Theory, he is a much-sought-after speaker and educator on topics ranging from Accounting to Auditing and Taxation. He regularly conducts seminars for various organizations like the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Ayala Land Inc., the Commission on Audit, Manila Electric Company and the Bureau of Internal Revenue.

Sir Jek, as he is commonly known in the industry, has written this book to challenge the idea that Accounting is a difficult subject to master. Armed with over a decade of experience and belief that anyone can learn Accounting, he has made it his mission to share his passion not just with his students, but with students across the Philippines.

Sir Jek is a former faculty member of De La Salle University, St. Scholastica's College and Colegio de San Juan de Letran. He also worked as an auditor with Sycip, Gorres Velayo & Company after passing as 2nd placer in the Philippine CPA Licensure Examination.
