At present, she is assigned as the Officer-in-Charge to SEC Legazpi Extension/Region V .

A graduate of Bachelor of Laws of University of the Philippines - Diliman, Quezon City and admitted to the
Integrated Bar of the Philippines on April 2009, Atty. Norma A. Tan-Olaya has been with the Securities and Exchange Commission since 2011.

At SEC she handled legal matters relating to
regulations of the pre-need industry, before the regulatory jurisdiction over preneed was transferred to
the Insurance Commission. Subsequently, she handled legal--the regulations of financing and lending
companies, and of foundations.

Then she headed the division charged with the
regulations of the capital markets, particularly the stock and bond markets, the broker dealers of
securities, investment companies/mutual fund managers, salesmen of securities and investment houses.
