Education and Professional Certifications
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy degree at the University of
Assumption in 2007 and successfully passed the CPA Licensure Examination in the same year.
He is a graduate of Certified Forensic Accountant from the Institute of Certified Forensic
Accountants - Philippines in 2018. He is also a Certified Xero Partner Advisor and Xero
M i g r a t i o n a n d P a y r o l l Specialist.
Professional Background
He is the first Filipino to be designated as the Xero Partner Consultant for Xero Asia and
particularly managed Philippine Xero partners since 2019. Concurrent to his Xero role, he is an
Offshore Team Manager at the TOA Global Inc since 2015. He has also held accounting
positions from both local and national government agencies prior to joining TOA including
the Department of Budgetand Management, Region III.
Professional Affiliations
He has held various positions in PICPA Pampanga Chapter and is currently the Regional Sectoral
Representative for Commerce and Industry of Central Luzon Region for the fiscal year 2021-2022.
Chito Maniago

Prior to joining GCash, he served several multinational corporations for the last 17 years in various capacities. He was Regional Director for Corporate Communications & Public Affairs of CEMEX in Asia, Middle East & Africa, Country Head for Communications & Government Affairs of Glaxo SmithKline Philippines; Senior Manager for Corporate Communications of Pfizer Philippines and Sustainable Development Manager of Shell Philippines. He started as TV News Reporter for ABS-CBN where he started his career in media after graduating from the University of Santo Tomas.
He is the former President of the Philippine Association of National Advertisers (PANA) and the Ad Standards Council, and also Vice-President of the Public Relations Society of the Philippines and League of Corporate Foundations.
He was named one of the 100 Most Impactful CSR leaders of the world (Global Listing) and was named Most Outstanding Kapampangan in the field of Youth Leadership. He was recently featured in the book, The Evangelists - top communication practitioners in the country and was also selected as NEXTGEN CEO Awardee 2021 Cohort by the Management Association of the Philippines and SGV/Ernst & Young.
Chito took his Legal Management Degree at the University of Santo Tomas, and later on took higher studies at De La Salle University for his Post-Graduate Diploma in Integrated Marketing Communications and the Asian Institute of Management for his Management Development Program.
